In terms of kindergarten, students are expected to learn about the foundations for various different aspects regarding technology. For instance, one of the standards listed would include being exposed to online reading materials, and the tools included in certain programs. Features such as glossaries and electronic menus can be utilized in order to find different things within text, and students are expected to utilize these tools in order to find particular text. Other items of electronic text must be recognized by the student as well, including but not limited to headings, icons, and table of contents.

In the CPALMS Educator toolkit, there are a multitude of resources for Kindergarten Social Studies. The resource "5 Senses", provides a comprehensive overview of the concepts of sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. In addition, there is a resource subset for each sense. In the smell resource, a video tutorial plays for the student, and allows them to understand and recognize the sense of smell. In addition, there is a listed resource for the teacher which outlines which standard is being met. In this case, the resource meets the requirement as it allows for the students to grasp senses and body parts.

In terms of Internet searching, as an educator it is a vital tool in order to properly expose your students to different recourses they would not otherwise have. In addition, internet searching allows for a teacher to access resources themselves. I think I would be most likely to use the CPALS educator toolkit. This seems to provide educators with multiple subjects and grade levels to explore. I am not aware of any other searching skill which educators often use.
